"Loved staying here and waking up to that view. The horse was cute. Being pet friendly was a giant bonus and my dogs loved running around the property. Owner is super lovely. I read some people saying they had no reception but if youre with Spark the reception is excellent."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property as the house was as described with good quality linen and towels. This was a good location for the Tongariro Crossing which we completed during our stay and the river walks were great too. The drive back to Taupo was scenic and so the distance was not really an issue."

"With this house you get an awful lot of dampness along side all the wonders of a beautiful bush setting, and fantastic morning bird song. There are dehumidifiers downstairs that barely take the edge off the appalling damp, moldy smell down where the lower bedrooms are. Even the upstairs bedroom was more musty than I would expect for a quality bach. When we arrived the hot water hadnt been turned on, and its really hard to get someone from Bachcare to answer the phone, so it took a while to get...
