The Bungalow was delightful. It was on the otherside of the road so not waterfront. It was a 5min walk to where we got to swim with a turtle. It didnt have air-conditioning. But it had two ceiling fans and all the windows had screens and there was plenty of windows for air flow. We were there in October so not sure how hot it would be in summer. Very friendly and helpful staff, starting with the airport transfer which took us straight to the villas which are at a different location (about 4km away) and the driver then checked us in! We had a Beachfront room which was very spacious with a King and Queen bed and large bathroom. The views from the balcony over the lagoon were fantastic. Overall we love the Edgewater, the staff are lovely, the onsite restaurants are great and there are other eating options close by. We rented a car from Polynesian rentals on site which was great. We had a fabulous week and plan on going back again next year!

Our flight was delayed by 5 hours. We phoned the hotel and they were already aware of the delay and had rescheduled our airport pick up. We ended up arriving in Rarotonga at 2.30 am instead of 9.40 pm but everyone on our arrival at the airport and hotel greeted us warmly. There was someone ready to direct us to the transfer desk the minute we cleared customs and someone to escort us to the bus.
