"The staff at Moana Sands were absolutely amazing, particularly the ladies on the front desk. There was one who was especially wonderful and gave my friend and I lots of ideas and information about places to visit and what to do (she was the one who told us about the fantastic lemon cheesecake at the Maire Nui gardens!). The property was spotless, beautifully quiet, had gorgeous views and extremely spacious rooms. The only draw-back was there weren't dinner options from the restaurant every night during the low season, but the meals we did have there were delicious."

"The house was large and spaceous. The kitchen was had everything we needed The pool was a huge benefit. Some maintenance is needed with the pool as there are some loose tiles. The bathrooms could do with some cleaning. The host was lovely, easy to contact and allowed us to have a late check out which was much appreciated. We would recommend this property to family and friemds "

"Our family (3 generations) enjoyed staying at Turou retreat. The house provided the space we needed and gave us the option to cook our own meals. The location is great. Everything is close by on Rarotonga. We loved going to ice cream and had some amazing meals at local restaurants. Thank you Linda and family for letting us stay in your house!"

"Great snorkelling here. Pretty calm. Good facilities eg paddle boards, kayaks etc. Blinds dont block sun, just there for privacy, good breakfast, Id stay here again for the location. "

"NOT RECOMMENDED.dirty,old,worn.Our experience from beginning to end was unbearable. I booked for 6ppl for $1051.63. Our stay was from 2-7th Feb.When I got my itinerary, it said the booking was only for 2ppl. I called abt the error made,to which tanya insisted i pay $500 for my 4 chldrn.I hesitantly agreed to pay the extra,since they wouldn’t refund me back.baring in mind we were here to bury our mother/nana.so we needd somewhr to stay. I barely got of the plane, before the txts and messages started to spam my phone about paying money now..we just took our mum off the plane and driving to our home in Arorangi &they are spamming me. Im trying to organise my family our transport our luggage our extended family etc.And these ppl are worried about money.. when we finally got to check in,at the house. Staff asked us to pay now. I didn’t have cash at the time because we just got of the plane. I said to the staff pls come back when we are here again. We drove back to Arorangi and slept there with mum one last time. When we came back to the accomm, staff ask on boss behalf Tanya for money now. We still didn’t make it to the atm. On day 3.We got a very nasty phone call frm Tanya &anotherfrmJune. Who came to the property to kick us out! She racially profiled my kids calling them”you people”&accusing thm of breaking her old picture,that fell of th wall.Thtwas the last straw. Frm then on,I refuse to pay anymre.she calld her ppl & police to intimidate me.But the police sided with us."
