We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Pacific Resort Rarotonga. It is in a great location on the beach and the rooms are spacious with large bathrooms. All staff were incredibly friendly. We ate dinner at Sandals every night and enjoyed the food. We would definitely stay here again.

From the organization of airport transfers to the unbeatable location just about everything was memorable about our stay. Staff were excellent in their responses to all our queries. The island buses are a bonus as a convenient tour and shopping experience. One personal issue is that our bed was a little on the soft side compared to what we are used to.

The staff were very friendly and always acknowledge us when walking passed. Only downside of the week was the 6am Saturday wakeup of very loud machinery going around the resort.

We had an amazing experience here from the service, accommodation, to the food and cocktails. Really enjoyed the company of sugar the dog at dinner. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

The properties architecture is fully integrated in the breathtaking gardens. We used this property 25 years ago for our wedding and came back for our anniversary. I our opinion the pacific resort is the closest you can get to paradise on earth.

The resort is lovely and in an incredible location. We loved staying here. We didn't love the smell of the 'treatment' plant though - quite offputting and unexpected in such a stunning location.

We where only here for one night but was a lovely stay right on the beach with free use of kakay and sup that was nice room were clean and quiet had bar on site and night market just a 4min walk away what more could you ask for

The location on a calm lagoon with crystal blue water is so beautiful! The food at the 2 restaurants is delicious. The Spa provides exceptionally great massages. Most important, each and every one of the staff are professional, helpful and very friendly. Staying here is like being at home!

Place very dated (cramped restaurant area) and plenty of stray dogs to bother you at mealtimes. There’s no poolside service or room service either with a crowded uninspired breakfast buffet. Cocktails taste watered down. Good if you have kids though as lagoon just there.

Nice and really great for where in the world it is

We stayed in the family bungalo. It was clean and nice. The continental breakfast was included and minimal but satisfactory. The pool was nice and clean - no heater.

The position has to be the most beautiful part of the entire island. Waking up in paradise to the crystal clear water,and watching whale breach off the outer reef is breathtaking. The staff are all amaxing. Beautiful beachfront dining is amazing. Right next door to the muri night markets. Also the overwater cultural show and dinner is the other side of this beautiful resort.

As a 2 day stopover, our time to explore Rarotonga was cut short due to a problem with hot water and at very short notice was to have our bags packed to relocate to another room. Within moments, staff were at the door to help us with our bags. With little time and wet clothes and washing, everything got mixed. A little more time to get things together would have definitely helped!!! After a restless night the first night (as we do), with a change of rooms had yet another - In fact worse, as the pillows were far less comfortable than the first, amongst other things. Having booked here partly for the convenience of laundry facilities, first load of washing the machine halted (due to power and not related to their laundry hours) and then we had a load stop, still filled - But with filthy dirty water. Having to rewash everything again before 7.00 laundry cutoff time, meant we missed our evening out. For the cost (and in comparison to the amazing Pacific Resort at Aitutaki), sadly this fell very short for us and in turn our brief visit to Rarotonga.

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday at the restaurant, and it was truly unforgettable. The staff completely surprised me with a joyful birthday serenade, accompanied by a beautiful dessert platter and candle. Their singing was so heartfelt and genuine—it overwhelmed me with emotion and made me feel deeply appreciated and loved. To the duty manager, Noel, and every member of the team: thank you for taking those few minutes out of your busy evening to create such a special moment for me. Your warmth and kindness made my night, and this memory will forever hold a special place in my heart. You all are amazing—thank you for going above and beyond. You absolutely rock!
