"Kiahuna Plantation Resort Kauai by OUTRIGGER Was exactly the place we were hoping for when we were booking a relaxing trip to Kauai. We selected an ocean view that did not disappoint, and our room was about 100 yards from the beach. The room was clean and had everything we needed for meals when we weren’t going out to eat. "The outrigger is centrally located to all the desirable sites on the island. Saves greatly on travel time.

The resort is quiet, beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Staff is pleasant and helpful.
I should be noted that one of the building is undergoing a full remodel so there was some construction noise on occasion.(Late July 2025)
The beach is directly connected to the resort and there is easy access and fantastic views. The area at the resort is not really swimable, but safe areas are just a short walk up the beach. No lifeguard however.
Parking is close but there is a daily fee.
