"We loved the location - mega convenient for seeing everything in Oxford city centre, and so many brilliant food options. We started off on the top floor, but on a hot day in May it reached 25.5C and didn't cool back down which made it really hard to sleep. The 24/7 concierge service is great though, and moved us to the ground floor the next day which suited us much better. The shower was pretty decent and easy to use, but did fluctuate from hot to cold a bit. We really appreciated the free...

"The George Street Hotel offered affordable accommodation in the heart of Oxford. You can walk to anything and there are lots of restaurants in the area. It was a short walk to the bus station for transport to London or the airports. Yes the rooms are small and yes you can hear some street noise but to me that’s expected in a character hotel in the middle of a busy city. Would definitely stay here again. "

"It would have been 5 stars. However sadly one very rude member staff. Who thought the way to deal with an issue was to ignore what the customernwas saying and instead make inane comments. Shame as all the other staff were professional and very friendly. Clean, comfortable. Good breakfast. Jacuzzi wasn't workking but lovely steam room and suana. "

"Nice hotel, lovely surroundings, the breakfast was well cooked and the staff were amazing.a bit far out if your wanting a bit of nightlife but a 8 quid taxi ride gets you to the local pub thats if you dont want to use the 24 hr hotel bar which i found was good.the beds in the room were amazing and the most comfy ive ever slept in.i would stay here again"
