"A la carte dinners were fantastic, although the included house wine is very limited and not great. If you want a basic bottle of wine, you’re looking at at least 2000 pesos. Buffet was average at best. We have a gluten allergy in our family, and there were ample choices at the restaurants, however, always ask for the vegetarian menu as it has more gluten-free options than the regular menu. Gluten-free desserts were very limited. Service is fantastic. There are a few pool bartenders that looked annoyed when you ordered anything that would create a little more work for them, but generally the restaurant staff and the pool staff are absolute gems. The gym facilities are newly remodeled and pretty nice. Lots of good equipment and lots of space, never felt crowded even in the busy mornings. If you’re a teenager is into working out, but isn’t 18, you need to sign a waiver and an adult has to be with them while they work out. Super annoying if your kid plays high-level sports or is really into working out and you have to be with the whole time. Other high end resorts, like Moon Palace do not have the same ridiculous policies. They also don’t have any classes, so no yoga, no spin classes, etc. They do have daily activities in the pool like water cycle and aqua size, but they’re really poorly advertised and hard to find a daily schedule anywhere. If you’re lucky you’re there when it begins. Coffee shop is just OK. Pool is great. All around pretty nice resort. "

"Staff was nice esp. Beatriz, the housekeeper. Special mention to Eliseo, from the restaurant, who gave me the papaya I requested on 12/27 when I couldn’t find it on Elements Buffet Restaurant. Other waiters like Fernando(Jaime), Ricardo and Edival were so friendly and accommodating. The place was so clean and bed was comfy. It is a walking distance to shopping malls. The restaurants serve good food but you need reservation to most restaurants except the Elements Buffet Restaurant. Food in Elements were good but because I have been to RIU, Warwick Hotel and Moon Palace, I would say their food is very limited. The good thing is they can prepare the food according to your request, like no salt, no pepper, etc. Also, they are open for long hours. There was Free Room Service and they are so quick, within 10-15 minutes, it was delivered to my room on Xmas Day. We couldn’t close the shower door but when I requested a repair it was done so quickly. Entertainment was all night during our stay. My 2 daughter(24) and special son(22) enjoyed it. We will come back to this place! "
