Very cute and laid back old Hawaii feel. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The village of Hawi was our favorite stop on the island. Short walk from the hotel to the Main Street with shops and restaurants. We only stayed one night and have already talked about coming back and staying longer.

Courteous staff, nice enough accommodations, if overpriced for what you get. In our room, outside noise was deafening; the a/c was loud and above our headboard so impossible to sleep with it on (so uncomfortable nights); the TV faced nothing to sit or lie on for viewing.

Property and location was great. Room was not nice. Felt dirty, sloppy paint, smelled bad. Hallway felt like we were in steerage next to all the hotel laundry.
