Bed and Breakfast in Harrop Fold

"The place is great, very quiet and peaceful. My only complain is that the furniture and carpet in my room was old and that was an issue for my mother in law who had an allergy problem, and we could feel the sprungs on our mattress. The rest was great, the swimming pool, hot tub, all great. "

"The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Parking was easy. We were able to walk into town along the canal which runs along the rear of the hotel in 5- 10 minutes. Very enjoyable stay."

"Checkin was horrendous. First room was unmade, there was bedlinen lining the corridors & numerous guests were irritated that their room was not ready. Checkin is at 4 but my room was not ready until. The bed was very uncomfortable & the room was cold (with a pathetic small oil heater to try & heat it). "

"Exceptionally clean and comfortable room. Shower was great. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful. First visit, won't be the last. Will be our 'go to' hotel when visiting family. Great 2 night stay, very reasonably priced. "
