We were so excited to arrive at our accommodation for our little Adventure, we were super happy to check in earlier than expected so made the day so much more pleasant. The complex is so close for the theme parks and harbour town. The beach is opposite which the kids loved for their morning walks, the apartment was roomy and a large kitchen, and two great verandahs. Parking was safe underground and access to all amenities was easy, and you get a good workout with the stairs.

Room was fairly quiet for being close to the highway. Grounds were well maintained. Did not like all the stairs due to our age. Front staff were great and plenty of local knowledge, thank you so much it was a great help.

This property was great for our needs. Property a little tired and cld do with decor upgrade like new cushions and decent drapes. Property very clean and quiet. We wld stay again.

Our family really liked staying at Sandcastles on the Broadwater. The unit was really large and spacious for us all. The pool and spa were perfect for our kids. Nice and quiet area too.

We were in a 3 bedroom spa apartment, In a great position overlooking the water. We had 2 spacious balconies. The pool and barbecue area was great . Probably the only downside was we were on the 3rd floor, 4 flights of stairs from the secure underground car park. The unit was spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

The 3 bedroom unit was amazing. Stayed for 4 nights but wasn't told that we had to bring our own toilet paper, coffee etc. There was enough dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, etc for one night only between 7 people. Other than that it was a perfect place to stay!

Hi Julie, That's great to hear you enjoyed your time with us and the unit was amazing. We do send multiple confirmations to our guests with important information. In this case we had your direct email address and 3 confirmation emails were sent to you on the following dates: 16th April 2023 (the day you made the booking), 27th October 2023 (when we took full payment) and an upcoming arrival email on the 5th November (3 days before your arrival). All 3 of the email sent do in fact inform our guest of the following: Apartments are self catering. This means that we supply you a "starter pack" of products such as tea/coffee/sugar, detergents and toilet paper. Replenishments are guest responsibility. Linen changes are only carries out for stays over 7 days. We do our best to provide as much information as possible to our upcoming guests and sorry if this was overlooked by yourself.

Sandcastles on the Broadwater is an awesome place to stay, all the home comforts needed to make a comfortable stay. Loved our spacious apartment and the spa was an added bonus. Kids loved the pool, everything was so easy to get to. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

We loved our 3 night stay in 3 bedroom apartment. There was lots of room and beautiful views from the two balconies. The pool was a decent size and the spa was hot. Walking distance to many food options and beach is just across the road. Great value too. Will definitely stay again.

Cant fault. Only downfall, not disabled friendly. E.g. no lifts or ramps to apartments. Otherwise, very good.

Whilst I do appreciate people need to leave a premises in a clean and reasonable state, the repeat instructions (threat or risk charges) to dump ALL rubbish in the car park bin is, in my opinion, in conflict with the services they additionally paid for. Finding that happy medium is the challenge to balance, but right now, I think it is over the top and left me feeling dissatisfied.

Hi Terry,I am suprised that your stay was ruined by the fact that we asked you, as a courtesy to remove all rubbish and set the dishwasher (amongst other things). We have used this same departure letter for several years without offence, and feedback is often positive as we remind guests of several things to assist in an easy departure. The "offending" remark is as follows:"Please remove all rubbish and start the dishwasher if you have used it. We ask that you lock all windows & doors and ensure that the air-conditioners are turned off before your departure. Please note that fees apply if the room is left in an unreasonable condition." If you take that as a repeated threat then I am sorry, as it was never meant to offend. I dont know where your "happy medium" can be found as all reactions are subjective.

During our stay the receptionist was very polite and went above and beyond her job to help us find activities that we were trying to look into. Also she was very helpful when trying to communicate from the US. It is an older building but the views certainly make up for that.

We loved the space of unit, surrounding gardens and pool. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly! The apartment could have been cleaner. I found candy wrappers in drawers and other peoples belongs under bed. However kitchen and bathroom were spotless

The apartment was fairly dated with the furniture being basic and well worn. The main ensuite shower had no soap dish or shelf so soap and shampoo had to be stored on the floor of the shower. On a positive note, the views of the water was lovely and the large balcony with spa was a great area to relax in. I hadn’t realised the property didn’t have a lift when we booked so being on the top floor and having to climb 6 flights of stairs for my 82 yr old mother and myself (who’d had a hip replacement a few months prior) wasn’t fun for the 3 days we stayed there.

It was a nice complex and the unit had everything we needed including paid TV. The unit we were assigned was neat and well maintained. Only thing to mention was the bed was a double so very small for two adults, no bedside table and the unit floor was a bit sticky and seemed a little dirty but could be the cleaning product used. We would stay in the complex again as the location is great and close to the beach for walks, restaurants and Harbour Town.

Owners were very friendly and helpful with information on the local area and things to do. Excellent location for walking to shops and restaurants. Pool was clean, lovely temperature and very well maintained. Room was clean and well appointed and balcony was fairly private. Meeting Monty the Dalmatian at reception was definitely a highlight!!! Highly recommend!!
