The Boardwalk property itself is beautifully landscaped & clean. As for the host of Apt 23, NO instructions whatsoever were left for guests to help maneuver anything in & around the flat or building which is highly dependent upon a key & toggle system. You cannot do anything without either. It would have been nice to have instructions how to work the TV in the Lounge Rm. TV remained unprogrammed so we couldn't watch. Same with the Wifi password which wasn't provided because there was no note left.
The kitchen didn't have regular appliances you could normally figure out. Once again, no note was left so we had to spend too much time working out the stovetop & dishwasher to get it going.
The kitchen itself had VERY basic & only a few saucepans. Missing were basics like a dish sponge, & there were no paper towels, no cutting board, & no veggie peeler, etc.
Our stay was 4 days & we were provided 1-1/4 rolls of toilet paper in total.
The air con was sealed off with tape. The heater at night did not go on! Again, NO instructions how to work the little remotes to turn on/off these devices, anyway!
IF there was a housekeeping svc, NONE was made known or offered to us in the 4 days of staying there.
I think for the cost, there are far better places to stay other than Apt 23 Boardwalk Burleigh. Perhaps it was only this host in Apt 23 but he/she needs to step up. Even their bath toiletries were the cheapest & they smelled badly so we did not use them! This is our HONEST review.
