Very impressed with this property. Nice huge apartment and well stocked with kitchen utensils. Gym was well equipped as well. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. We arrived late and communications couldn't have been any better.

We purchased an ocean view with Expedia and did not get ocean view we were on the seventeenth floor and promised an ocean view before we booked but we were facing heavy construction site which was very noisy and blocking all our view

I would highly recommend this property if wanting to stay in the Burleigh area. I arrived after business hours and checking in (via intercom and collecting keys from a safe) was incredibly straightforward and simple. My apartment (1 bedroom ocean side) was clean and tidy; well appointed; comfortable bed/bedding; and the views were lovely. Only minor complaint would that most of the dishes and cutlery appeared to be a bit dirty, so I had to wash everything thoroughly before using. The property is in a wonderful location - only a 5 min walk from the main area of Burleigh and just a few minutes to the beach. I did not use the pool, but it looked very nice I believe the price was very competitive also (compared to other available properties in the area). I was also staying alone (female) and I felt very safe and secure at all times. Thanks Boardwalk Burleigh Beach for a great stay!

I arrived at 5 minutes to 2pm after a very long drive and they said I had to go and come back at 2pm to check in. I thought that was a bit ridiculous. The traffic is horrible on Gold Coast highway there, I had to go around the block once and come back to check in.

Thank you for your review Heidi,I am sorry this occurred on your arrival. I also think it was a bit silly of the after hours service to send you away for 5 minutes. As the reception is not manned after 12pm, we advise them of each unit that is ready before we leave for the day. If house keeping are still working we advise them check in from 2pm. In reality by the time you collected the key from the safe and went down to park your car, it would have been after 2pm. I will let my manager know this happened.

Did not like the view we had. We looked out onto a construction site, 3 cranes and a main road. We paid for an ocean view. Expected to be facing due north instead we faced due south. Very disappointing.

The rooms had limited provisions. Kitchen - no salt/pepper, no sugar, poor selection of cutting knives - couldnt cut a tomato. One towel for whole week and had to pay $3 for a pool towel. Furniture and carpet were stained. Otherwise, friendly and accommodating staff, great location.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay Tonya.We supply tea, coffee, milk and sugar on arrival.We also have supplies in store of knives etc should an apartment be lacking or missing items and these can be obtained by advising reception. We provide a towels, face washers & hand towels by the number of guests on the booking. We also understand that some guests like 2 each and these can also be provided by contacting reception. We do spring cleans in the apartments where lounges, carpets and dining chairs are steamed cleaned prior to school holidays. The apartment you stayed in has just had the lounge replaced due to the amount of times we have had to have it cleaned.We hope to see you againWarm Regards

We were recommended this property by our daughter who had stayed there previously a couple of times, and we're glad we stayed there too. We would love to stay again. Great location, great views and spacious and well-equipped apartments. We were a little disappointed that the place was not as clean as we would like and there was a mark on the doona which we told the management about. [The doona was replaced by a blanket which was already in the room.] I should point out that we had a mid-stay room service and the cleaner kindly turned on the dishwasher for us. Another point is that in at least some establishments cleaners are given insufficient time and resources to do their job properly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay again.

The Boardwalk property itself is beautifully landscaped & clean. As for the host of Apt 23, NO instructions whatsoever were left for guests to help maneuver anything in & around the flat or building which is highly dependent upon a key & toggle system. You cannot do anything without either. It would have been nice to have instructions how to work the TV in the Lounge Rm. TV remained unprogrammed so we couldn't watch. Same with the Wifi password which wasn't provided because there was no note left. The kitchen didn't have regular appliances you could normally figure out. Once again, no note was left so we had to spend too much time working out the stovetop & dishwasher to get it going. The kitchen itself had VERY basic & only a few saucepans. Missing were basics like a dish sponge, & there were no paper towels, no cutting board, & no veggie peeler, etc. Our stay was 4 days & we were provided 1-1/4 rolls of toilet paper in total. The air con was sealed off with tape. The heater at night did not go on! Again, NO instructions how to work the little remotes to turn on/off these devices, anyway! IF there was a housekeeping svc, NONE was made known or offered to us in the 4 days of staying there. I think for the cost, there are far better places to stay other than Apt 23 Boardwalk Burleigh. Perhaps it was only this host in Apt 23 but he/she needs to step up. Even their bath toiletries were the cheapest & they smelled badly so we did not use them! This is our HONEST review.

Apartment was spacious and conveniently close to shops/cafes/beach, easy parking, good amenities. However, the room was not well cleaned at all. Windows, mirrors, surfaces etc were all visibly dirty.

We would have like extra blankets. The bed was made with a very thin bedspread and no other covers. We had no choice but to leave the aircon all night as the room was freezing.
