Location is fabulous !
Unit was spacious, (2 bedroom). Plenty of room for three adults. Across the road from the beach and a 5 minute walk to shops and cinema.

We didn’t like the view of the new development and road outside our window!! The room was dark and depressing!! The cutlery was dirty We were changed from initial room into an inferior room and will never book through you again I tripped on hard to see door threshold and fell!! A horrible accomodation experience that spoilt our holiday

sorry to hear Greg, pity you didn't advise us of any of this while you were here? When you left when asked about your stay, you thanked us and nothing was said about a fall at a door threshhold? some people are just unhappy in life and cant be pleased. your booking was for an upstairs villa that both you and your wife refused as it is a walk up with stairs and no lift, so we put you in our only ground floor unit available. Thank you, and we clearly would love you to come back again sometime, maybe a little happier though.

The Bella Maree has everthing you need to get ready for a good time. Whether it is exploring the local beaches or visiting the Surf Club for a refreshment or going for a Dance at Twin Towns which boasts wonderfull live entertainment and also has full coverage of Sport. The beach is a stone step away and the local retailers are good fun.

We enjoyed the shaded pool and barbecue area, and that the complex had a locked gate, keeping children safe and away from traffic. We appreciated the flexibility of being able to check in early, and help with our luggage. Thank you!

Great Cooly location!
We found the location of the property to be excellent within close walking distance to beach, shops and clubs. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The property itself is starting to show its age but overall was comfortable enough. We teally enjoyed are break away for a few days.

We couldn’t have had a better stay at Bella Mare apartments. Our apartment was lovely (and recently renovated). The on-site managers were friendly and helpful and the location was great. So close to both Cooloongatta and Rainbow Bay beaches and easy waking distance to all the shops and restaurants at Cooloongatta. We will definitely stay again!

Great place for Families
This is a great property. Perfect location and everything you need for a great holiday. No AC in the bedrooms but it is so well insulated we only ever needed the fan. Washing machine and dryer are good to have but the dryer didn't work for us. Luckily we didn't really need it anyway. Also the wifi did not work... might be a problem for some but we didn't need it. I think they were getting it fixed but it didn't work for our whole stay. Great staff too. Thanks guys

Loved the place was much better than expected! The apartment was great, everything you could need and want in the apartment brilliant for familys wanting a great place to stay on holiday! Walking distance from everything! Beach, shops, restaurants!

Poorly managed
Kind staff. But property not managed well. Door knobs locking broken. Few light bulbs need to be replaced. No wifi connection. I just call the staff to fix foxtel. I cannot call them with other problems because there are too many. I think they should know guest who stay wouldn't like to report problems. Need to be proactive to find any problems of their property.

Hi Mr Anonymous. We are sorry to you for you less than enjoyable stay with us, are you sure you stayed here as we have not had a review like this before? All guests that have the courtesy to point out something adrift during their stays are attended to asap. We had a family here last week that when we had an issue with ceiling fans, we moved to another unit. Then that family had issues with Foxtel that we rectified within 10 minutes. Sometimes you just cannot do enough to please people. We aim to help people on every occasion, so in future, no issue is too small to know about so the next person that stays here, doesnt have the same "terrible experience" you believe you had..

We Iove the location of Bellamare and this was our 4 year staying at this property. We always enjoy our stay here. D this time was no different however we were a little disappointed our room this year. Although it was on ground level and had great access to the pool the room itself was very dated and had minimal furniture and utensils for the kitchen compared to other rooms we’ve had, pipes were also extremely noisy. It will not deter us from staying again in this property as mentioned earlier the location is perfect for what we need.

The location is great and probably the only reason people stay here. The pool was ok but often cloudy and dirty. There were hardly any utensils or plates/dishes in the kitchen (nothing to use in the microwave??), there was active mould on the painted walls in the bathroom (which I’m sure is a health hazard) and they hardly left cleaning supplies/bags. If it wasn’t for the location we would have asked to move. Don’t stay here and definitely not in room 15!!

Absolutely love the location of this resort. Park the car and forget it. Very nice, spacious units. Perfect for keen surfers with 4 different breaks within walking distance.

Overall great property and location, just gets loud on weekends. If you planning to party it’s fun, if resting with family can be annoying. Overall for the price, location and convenience very economical.
