Negatives....only one bathroom which is not on bedroom floor (difficult to access in middle of night!), Too many stairs for us older folks. No instructions for TV. Not enough towels or wastebaskets. Steep walk up and down hill to access house. Could use some homey touches like teabags, condiments. Pretty spare. But, all in all, a great deal for the money."

"We had a nice week for RC slope flying in the region. The cottage is well equipped for all needs and for cooking for ourselves. A couple shops are close by. The surrounding landscape is great.Another option for preparing coffe other then the pad machine would've been a nice addition (filter holder or french press?).There was a bit of a fowl smell every time we came in, and we weren't able to locate it or get rid of it. "Property was not well looked after. Blinds were missing from Windows, surfaces had not been cleaned, the kitchen was missing many essential items such as forks, broken glass outside the back door, last guests dirty laundry left in the dinning room, the list goes on. Really put a downer on the first day of the holiday. I don't expect to have to provide essentials like forks and kitchen knives and clean on arrival. Manager of property was initially understanding but is now ignoring my emails."

"It was a lovely modern property with nice beds and great kitchen. The seating area outside was great. Very central location. Parking is a bit of a pain as the nearby car parks are very expensive (£17/24hr v Swansea which are £5/24hr). No nearby free street parking. Mumbles is a very busy place. If you’re a light sleeper I’d advise earplugs as we found it quite noisy. Excellent communication from host and all in all a great place to stay whilst visiting the area "

"The communication at check-in was excellent. The house is on a secluded space set back from the road. It is quite small but fine for a single traveller or couple. The bedroom is a very good size with a decent shower room en-suite. It is warm and the kitchen is well equipped in the main. I notice a number of people have said the bed was comfortable but I would say if you have neck or back issues it may not be ideal.
