"I stay at the Glendale regularly to visit my daughter and granddaughter who live nearby. It is a lovely hotel above an Italian restaurant with very convenient access to Penarth train station with regular trains into nearby Cardiff. It has both single and double size rooms and I usually choose a single. The rooms are well appointed with rather basic shower facilities, tea & coffee etc. a very nice full cooked English breakfast is available (extra) and of course there is the very convenient...

We likened the downtown atmosphere to the Fremont Street of the U.K. The city center has the train station, shopping, dining and nightlife, all within walking or Uber distance of Novotel. "Comfortable bedding, beautiful view of the city and accessible shower was great for my arthritic knees as a chair was available. Staff were helpful and looked after our luggage well. Slight improvements could be made on the cleaning due to finding small stains on towels and shower curtain, but everything else including the bed was perfect. Was very pleased to see a hotel that included eco friendly benefits and would love to see more of it in other hotels in the future!"
