"Host, Julie, was lovely. Accommodation was very comfortable and clean. Town centre is a 10 to 15 minute walk but be aware, it is downhill all the way and so is a climb on the way back. Would happily stay again. "

"Stayed in cabin 3, and despite reading some recent negative reviews, we were very happy with the room. It was clean, well stocked and the view over the lake in the morning was amazing. Breakfast was very nice and had lots of variety. Our only small gripe was the beds weren’t particularly comfortable. Mattresses are subjective and we were only there 1 night. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay there again. It’s also only 25 minutes from Cardiff centre. "

"We really enjoyed our two night stay at the Old Post House. Exceptional accommodation, a beautiful large room with comfy beds, tea, coffee, biscuits and water provided. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice and very friendly hosts. The property is in a lovely village spot on the outskirts of Cardiff and we would have liked to stay longer to explore more. "We stayed overnight for my husband’s birthday. Spa treatments were great for each of us and we made use of the pool and jacuzzi for an extra charge. The meal in the Blok was exquisite!! Brandon served us and was very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. In fact all the staff were friendly and helpful over and above the usual service you find anywhere else. "Excellent! Great communication from Richard. Phone call to check we were happy with the entry instructions. Everything was left for us to access the property with our emailed instructions. The apartment had a great location, easy walk into town but in a quiet street so away from the noise. Not far from the castle and park also. The apartment was spotlessly clean with lovely towels and bedding. We were very impressed and will definitely recommend it to others and will come back to stay...

"The hosts were fabulous and blew is away with their welcome pack but is not suitable to sleep 4. Everything is just in one room and there's only seating for 2 unless you want to sit on a bar stool. The layout also needs rethinking because at one point my wife was in bed having a cup of tea and waved to the hosts as they pulled up in their car. If they switched the sofa and bed you'd get more privacy and be able to watch the tv from the sofa. Otherwise, it was great. Would recommend for a couple."
