"2 families stayed whilst visiting Alton Towers. We couldn’t have stayed any closer, The Old Barn literally on the doorstep. The property have a very homely feel which made relaxing easy. There was plenty of room for the 12 of us. We could even all sit together around the large table in the kitchen to eat together. Beds were very comfortable and the location was quiet. "Clean room with plenty of hot water in the shower and a comfortable bed. But the outstanding feature was the staff not just helpful but friendly and as someone travelling, on this occasion, on my own they were invaluable. Yes, the property did look a little bit rundown and like it could’ve done with a lick of paint in places but that did nothing to detract from my stay. For r a budget friendly break in a long journey I could not ask for anything else."
