"Despite being just 2 people, we stayed in one of the large boats--two bedrooms, two bathrooms--and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The boat itself was impeccably clean and furnished with new, modern appliances and furnishings. There's an excellent kitchen for those who want to cook, and the boat's rooftop 'terrace' is a great place to relax. The provided water and welcome drinks in the fridge were a great touch. Communication before and during the stay was excellent, and written directions...

"We had a lovely stay in Hamburg and really enjoyed staying on the Peisssnitz! It is very clean and the design is very modern. It has everything you need and it is close to public transportation to go out and enjoy the city. One thing that should be obvious but I didn't think of before arriving: the boat does move a little bit because it's on the water and when it is windy."

"Be aware: the listing shows only the units on the water. What you may actually be booking has no water around it. When we checked in we found that we were booked for a “Garden Unit,” meaning a boat parked on the grass several meters away from any water. Your view from such a unit will likely be weeds, not water. "I stayed with 2 of my friends in this cute little boat. We had an amazing time where it was walking distance from the centre. Although there is no running water the host was very friendly and accomodate for us and always made sure we had what we needed. Definitely recommend if you want to stay on an affordable boat in the canals of Amsterdam!!"

"We enjoyed the location tremendously; and, staying on the boat added a charming ambiance to our Amsterdam experience. On the other hand, it is very tattered, dated, rickety and an electrical nightmare. Extension cords and hidden switches everywhere and very dimly lit. Floors covered with throw rugs that all overlap; the walls and ceilings covered with fabric that has been stapled on. And, used toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet. So, if you don't mind dealing with all the oddities, go...

"Such a great location. Close to everything and quiet which was exactly what we were looking for! Host was wonderfully accommodating which we really appreciated! Only very very minor complaints were the water didn’t get hot enough to utilize the bath, (I like scalding hot baths!) and the internet was in and out a bit. Everything else was amazing! Would absolutely stay again."

"This boat was amazing, a home from home. It was hard to believe at times you are actually on a boat. Location was great only 5 minutes walk from Limehouse station. Loved that we were met on our arrival and shown around the boat and to know if we had any problems we had someone to contact. Facilities were great, everything supplied. Can’t wait to visit again."
