"The owner was very nice and tried her hardest to speak English which she didn’t have to do but was very appreciated. The room was beautiful, very traditional and really gave us an authentic Japanese experience. The only issues were it was inaccessible for those with disabilities, there’s not really ramps in ikoma, at least the route we took, we also has to walk down stairs to get to our room, there wasn’t an elevator. The only other thing was that we had a basement 2 room, which wasn’t bad but...

"Wonderful traditional Japanese hotel (ryokan) with hot bath downstairs. We saw so many beautiful Sakura trees on our trip but the most amazing Sakura was right outside of this hotel. Just jaw dropping! Really enjoyed our walks down the stone stairs to the small city, beautiful views and beautiful place. We even liked it more than Kyoto, so quite and authentic :) will be back!"

"Hinotani is a seasonal find, like a good sake or cigar by the riverside, with tatami rooms, intelligent and proactive staff, and a Japanese experience that is local but aims to be international. The water park below is an eyesore that runs to summer end, but the food and room view in the morning - don't look down - are Japan's essentials, and add fall moon, nice baths, local drink and humor in F1season , and the immediate patron reflection is 'when will I be back?',"

"今回は、出張で一人での滞在でした。 出張の度に検索で候補に出てきますが、お値段も張りますし、少し離れているので、なかなか泊まる機会がありませんでした。今回、安いプランがあったので、迷わず予約しました。 自家用車で行きました。 真っ暗な道でしたので、ドキドキしましたが、小動物と遭遇しなくて良かったです。 ホテルが見えてくると、まるでオズの魔法使いのエメラルド・シティを思わせる視界が広がり、とてもドラマチックでした。 部屋をアップグレードして頂いたり、レストランの時間も融通して頂き、とにかく温かい応対で、とてもありがたかったです。 お風呂も広くて、どちらにも送迎して頂けるし、化粧品の使い心地も良く、大満足です。 次回はエステも体験したりして、ゆっくり過ごしたいです。 お勧めです。"
