"Great find!! I'm astounded what you get for your money. Huge room, by japanese standards, great amenities, friendly, helpful staff with good English. I hugely recommend this place, especially if you are staying more than a few days in Kyoto. Also well located, within walking distance of Gion and many shops across the river. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance, cheap or otherwise. Best place we have stayed in Japan so far. "

"Great place to stay close to temples and other attractions. Great projector and screen we could use in the evenings. Great little kitchenette, spacious bathroom, separate toilet, Beds were a little hard though. Close to convenience shops where you can buy snacks, drinks and even prepared meals. Excellent hotel in Kyoto, convenient location
"Such a nice hotel! Very convenient location, with free shuttle to the train station (only about 10 minutes away). Staff was very helpful, answering a couple of emails before our trip in a very prompt manner, as well as being helpful while we were staying there. They were able to hold our bags for us when we arrived several hours prior to check in so we could go sightseeing, and they held them again for us for a couple of hours after checkout so we could see a few more things before leaving town. The room was spacious, modern and clean - very comfortable! I believe we got a very good deal using this site, so we were thrilled to see how nice this hotel was. We loved our two night stay there and would absolutely love to stay there again!"
