Check in was fast and with a welcome drink too. Very good breakfast, perfect housekeeping and helpful concierge staff. We really enjoyed ourselves. The hotel has a lovely ambience.

This is an excellent hotel in the best part of Madrid. Highly recommended. One knows what to expect in a 5 star hotel and the Wellington ticks all those boxes - fluffy towels, comfortable bed, excellent gym facilities and the like. The reason I keep coming back to the Wellington though is that it is emblematic of everything that is wonderful about Madrid. nice hotel, room was spacious and comfortable, modern interior. the hotel restaurant was surprisingly delicious, the rooftop pool was unfortunately closed (during winter) but the views from the top are excellent.

Great stay, the staff were really accommodating and polite. The room was spacious and clean and their breakfast buffet was great - some vegan options which I really appreciated.

One of the best hotels I have ever stated in!! - rooms are exquisite and absolutely huge by European standards with complimentary minibar. - concierge were extremely helpful (the person I was travelling with had his bag stolen on the train and concierge staff were brilliant) - facilities were fantastic with a great pool on the top level - the included breakfast was beautiful. I couldn't rate this hotel any higher!!

Excellent, elegant hotel just inside walled city. Beautiful room overlooking gorgeous dining courtyard. Lovely facilities. Great restaurants close by. Close to Popes Palace.

The highlight for me was the pool access and the beach access. The pool had very picturesque views of the beach. It was excellent how there was an adult only section too. Staff was incredibly helpful and always willing to oblige. Breakfast was a very busy place. Even though there were a few items of food that were Maltese, it would be helpful to have a little bit more background information about these foods given that you are in Malta. Perhaps a Maltese section? Even things like honey, capers,...

From being picked up from the airport by their shuttle bus, a coffee in their lounge, a beautiful dinner at the Italian restaurant, the very comfortable room then taken back to the airport very early the next morning. Thank to very much to the Clayton Hotel.

I absolutely loved everything about Le Cavendish Hotel! Right from the moment we arrived Veronique greeted us and let us check-in to our room one hour before the usual check-in time. We found the staff friendly and helpful from start to finish. We had a first class cream tea in the afternoon and later dined in the restaurant and had a fantastic meal. Even the check out was made to be an enjoyable experience!
