"This was a great hotel! Nice rooms, though the pillows were too fat for me. Didn't think to ask for other pillows. Don't be afraid to ask for help, they are fast and friendly (came to show us how to control the air conditioner and fix our TV). Breakfast was very good. Nice rooftop bar. Sorry to miss the pool as it was not open when we stayed. Not sure if paying for a more expensive room was worth it as our friend's room looked pretty similar for less money. "The hotel was in a great position very close to Montjuic - easy uphill walk to the funicular. Staff very friendly. Quite noisy at night and no kettle for hot drinks which we had expected. There were plenty excellent options nearby for breakfast which we took advantage of rather than the hotel dining room. We thought that the tourist tax (over €18 for 2 people x 2 nights total) should have been more clearly stated at time of booking. "
