"The receptionist was cheerful and very helpful. The private courtyard/garden on the north side of the unit was a particularly pleasant. Having to wash dishes in the bathroom handbasin next to the toilet was a disappointing feature."

"This is a lovely modern hotel. Very nice rooms and facilities, but on tiered hillside levels so may not suit people with mobility difficulties. You can walk to the town centre in about 25 minutes. I have no hesitation in recommending Alexis Motels."

"My friend and I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen, lounge area, separate toilet, bathroom with a shower and a separate tub. It was a little outdated decor wise but it was very comfortable. Awesome location with a short walk to the waterfront. Not a big incline to walk back up. I would definitely recommend to stay here. "

"Brilliant stay. Views of the lake, mountains, marina superb. Very comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms convenient for our family of 4. Great location with bus stop a few steps away, petrol station is opposite and the Frankton shopping centre close by for essentials. Beautiful walking/bike track to Frankton “beach” and beyond. A portable clothes horse would be handy because most of our clothes items cannot be tumbled dried. "

"just one night stay. location is great. right in front of the lake wakatipu in QT. A small kitchenette comes handy to cook or warm up food. Water pressure is good. We stayed on the ground floor, so the window in the bathroom is not suitable to be open as motel's workers walk pass through the hallway frequently. No privacy. "

A lightbulb went out in our bathroom and reception and the maintenance guy had it fixed/replaced within 5 minutes. The in room breakfast for the duration of our stay was fantastic. I can't recommend this hotel enough!"

"Well situated place to stay near central Queenstown. The room has spectacular views of the lake. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area. Would give it a 5 but the bedroom lacked plug points and cupboard space was limited. Otherwise it was great place to stay. "
