This resort is outstanding, from the excellent rooms to the amazing staff, nothing could be faulted. The room was large for four adults, clean and in beautiful condition. The resort itself has two beautiful pools and is right on the beachfront, so very easy to do whatever you want. Snorkeling right off the beach - bring some aqua socks. Amazing - 10 out of 10 for sure.

The Bungalow was delightful. It was on the otherside of the road so not waterfront. It was a 5min walk to where we got to swim with a turtle. It didnt have air-conditioning. But it had two ceiling fans and all the windows had screens and there was plenty of windows for air flow. We were there in October so not sure how hot it would be in summer. Fantastic beachfront bungalows with privacy in an intimate small resort where everybody calls you by your first name. Most pleasureable vacation we have had in a decade.

Everything about this resort, in a beautiful location, is stunning and it delivers on every level. We stayed 5 nights in a premium bungalow, and everything from the welcome on arrival to the outlook of the restaurants, the room, facilities, the food and the customer service is excellent. The owners and the staff are absolutely great. This my 3rd trip to Rarotonga and the first time at Aroa and the service by the staff is fantastic.Drinks and meals are good and well priced. We will be back.

Had a lovely relaxing holiday, 18 & over resort which is great when you wanna get away without your own!! Fabulous staff, very helpful and friendly, Vinnie makes the best cocktails - you gotta try the Puffer fish. Great rooms, restaurant, had a lovely couples massage there at their day spa. Very friendly and helpful staff, starting with the airport transfer which took us straight to the villas which are at a different location (about 4km away) and the driver then checked us in! Very comfortable two bedroom, two bathroom apartment, clean and tidy, with sliding door opening on to a shared garden and barbeque area and straight down to the beach and ocean. A wonderful experience all round. Friendly caring staff, warm hospitality, beautiful garden settings adjacent to the beach, lovely food and fun activities to fill in your day. Great place to build precious family holiday memories.

This hotel advertises itself as 'casual luxury' and that's about right. The only criticism I have is that the bathroom seemed a bit tired with grey grout and older, stained fittings. Otherwise, it was ideal. In particular its position was perfect - we had a beachfront Are which I would highly recommend - more expensive but we watched whales breaching from our balcony. A lovely stay despite the wettest dry season ever! The kids loved the pool, husband loved being able to watch the NZ news on the communal tv, we used the BBQ most nights. This was a good location with groceries nearby and snorkelling up the road and the beach across the road. We thoroughly recommend this place for families.

The room was spacious and felt just like home. Everything we needed was provided, and the whole place was clean and comfortable. The staff were always nearby, which made us feel safe and welcome.

Position was idyllic. Walk out of your room and into the lagoon. The owner can help you with anything you need. Food and drink venues nearby.

We had a Beachfront room which was very spacious with a King and Queen bed and large bathroom. The views from the balcony over the lagoon were fantastic. Overall we love the Edgewater, the staff are lovely, the onsite restaurants are great and there are other eating options close by. We rented a car from Polynesian rentals on site which was great. We had a fabulous week and plan on going back again next year!

Our flight was delayed by 5 hours. We phoned the hotel and they were already aware of the delay and had rescheduled our airport pick up. We ended up arriving in Rarotonga at 2.30 am instead of 9.40 pm but everyone on our arrival at the airport and hotel greeted us warmly. There was someone ready to direct us to the transfer desk the minute we cleared customs and someone to escort us to the bus. If you want a chance to get away from everything then this is the place to do it and feel totally revitalised. The view and atmosphere are wonderful and just a quick walk to restaurants, bus and beach. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a breakaway.
