"Our family needed an unplugged getaway and Yachats was perfect. The house was more than we needed, but also perfect. We parked the day we arrived and had no need to drive until our departure. If you are looking for an immaculately clean house, this place is not for you. There are lots of beautiful beams and high ceilings, so lots of opportunities for spiders and cobwebs. Our family is okay with this, but not everyone is. We loved our stay"

"We had a wonderful time during our stay in the conductors quarters. The view of the lake is breathtaking and the serenity and peacefulness of the area makes it so easy to relax and enjoy yourself. The room was a step back in time and we would recommend Silt Coos Station to anyone for a beautiful getaway. They also have a wonderful pontoon boat that you can rent to get a closer look at the gorgeous lake."
