"We enjoyed our stay at Bay Point Landing. The cabin had everything we needed, firewood, fire starter, kitchen utensils, towels, blankets and other items. The amenities were very nice to have, we hung out in the lounge on a rainy day and still enjoyed the view. We really enjoyed the outdoor area at our cabin, comfy chair to lounge in and enjoy the sun. "

"Beautifully redone suite. Lots of space for a large family. The small kitchen saved so much money from eating out. The pool was warm and the room right by the water. The only complaint was that the conditioner bottle was fresh out. Thankfully the grocery store was walking distance. Overall a wonderful hotel that we hope to stay again. "

"We have stayed at the Plainview Motel before and used to love it, but after this experience, we will never return. The path to the beach was lined with trash and appeared to be occupied by homeless individuals. While my husband and son were down there, they were confronted by two large off-leash dogs that were aggressive—growling and attempting to attack our son and our small dog. The owner did nothing and dismissed it as “they’re friendly,” which was clearly not true. Later that same day, I was chased by another set of off-leash dogs belonging to a long-term tenant. The owner was rude, hostile, and harassed us instead of taking responsibility. He even tried to escalate the situation and falsely claimed he was calling the police. We no longer felt safe and left early, even though we had two nights remaining. Getting a refund was just as frustrating. The manager was unhelpful, argumentative, and only refunded one night after a long back-and-forth with the third-party booking company. Unsafe environment, aggressive dogs, rude long-term tenants, and poor management. I would not recommend staying here."

"Room was clean. Had a hard time getting it warm. Staff was minimal contact, but basically good, although he talked really fast! Kind of a negative feel to the area in my opinion, but it is still off-season."

"Basic - shower has warm, not hot water, no soap provided. but clean, warm and easy to find and access - plenty of cheap local restaurants in easy drive - the Thai on the main street was great"
