"Came to Corvallis for a few days to see oregon state baseball and was so pleased with this mountain retreat! Close to town by car but serenely set up in the mountains, even had a deer visitor in the yard in the morning! Very clean and well maintained, excellent communication with host. Would definitely stay again on my next trip to town!"

"My husband and I spent 10 weeks at Talavera while looking for a home in Salem. It was a fantastic home base with all the amenities we needed. Walking distance to historic downtown and Safeway and cute neighborhoods for evening strolls (watch out for bunnies!) The established neighbors in the building were lovely and the host of the property was always accessible and took care of any concerns quickly. We are so grateful we were able to stay and take our time finding a home in the area. Thanks...

"The town is cute, the area is cute. The property needs to be further along. The water in the kitchen has a bit of rust, but the adjacent bathroom the water was better, which we used.The beds were comfortable, the shower ok. No way to control the heat… needs window upgrades, holes in floors patched.The Vrbo app horribly difficult and frustrating, that definitely needs addressing."
