Great hosts and accommodation in a beautiful historic home with lovely gardens. Comfortable spacious room with very comfortable bed and mattress. Large bathroom with plenty of extras. Excellent breakfast plenty of choice. Couldn't ask for more

Host is a great guy and property is beautiful! Decor around the house is luxurious in a old victorian vibe. Only downside is that bathrooms are abit far from rooms and the door was not very sound proof. Other than that, it would be a great place to stay for a gettaway!

Can not rate this property highly enough. Magnificently restored 1914 property with all the little touches to make you feel pampered. Even comes with friendly black lab welcoming committee. Great host and wish we could have stayed longer in this peaceful spot.

What. A fantastic place! Matt was a superb host from the moment we arrived providing local flavour and knowledge wrapped in a historic setting. It set us up for 2 days of total enjoyment in the well renovated building and we recommend this to anyone looking for a boutique, high quality stay in a quiet location.

A lovely B&B just outside of Balclutha. A beautifully restored historical home with lovely gardens. A note to owners: The TV has a big glowing red light that is very distracting when you're trying to sleep in the dark. Also, disturbing that other guests kept using our bathroom. Otherwise a great stay.

A treasure at Benhar.
Very homely stay in the countryside close to town. Great place to meet and talk with other guests. Wonderful breakfasts in the stately dining room. A very historic home and with many stories from the past to make it unique. Part of New Zealand's history. Would definitely stay again.

A beautiful historic house with luxurious rooms. The hosts are extremely helpful and generous. Very nice to have access to a free mini bar and proper coffee machine. Definitely order the cooked breakfast Matt makes a great one with home made venison sausages...delicious.

到了差不多一小時，沒人在屋開門，最後要打長途給他叫屋主回來開門，屋主很友善，早餐還是可以。值得一提是，洗手間和浴室不在房間內，要屋頭行去聖尾的😅😅
