"Beautiful hotel getaway "
My husband and I decided to go on a last minute getaway trip for two nights in the middle of the week. We chose to stay based on good reviews, beautiful pictures, indoor pool, includes breakfast, close to downtown St Louis, and has jacuzzi rooms at a reasonable price. We've stayed in many hotels and both agree that the Wildwood Hotel is by far one of the best. My observation of the staff during our stay was pleasant. I even saw a manager genuinely compliment a cleaning lady by saying she's been doing an excellent job. I thought that was great to see and it's worth noting it in my review. The beds are incredibly comfortable BUT if you like a firmer bed I think the lush pillow top could be a problem. We're used to sleeping on a firmer bed but I prefer pillow top so this was a wonderful change, my back didn't hurt and I slept better than I do at home. The hotel was pretty quiet, but my only complaint is the room doors tend to slam shut without any force needed so that was slightly jarring throughout our stay. It was especially noticeable while people were checking out in the mornings and while the cleaning staff were going in and out. Other than that everything was great. The area around the hotel is nice and very safe, not far from other shopping/adventure/food. Free covered parking too. The jacuzzi tub in our room was absolutely amazing, breakfast food was ok, the pool is small but nice, everything was clean and wonderful. We will definitely go back. Highly recommend!

"Casino Hotel"
Excessive high price being it was connected to a casino. Expedia rate charged was $40 higher than the price they received from hotel. WHERE IS OUR REFUND???? Rate was published at room check-out. Very close to downtown. Buffet was less than desirable. Casino gambling was not too enjoyable, not very loose.

"Nice hotel close to downtown"
This is by far the best hotel I have found to stay in close to Busch stadium. The lady at check in was very accommodating. The room was very nice and clean. We rode motorcycles there so the security in parking garage was great too!

"It's a Casino Hotel"
A typical casino hotel, but it's pretty comfortable and affordable if you need to get to/from the airport rather quickly but don't want to stay at a typical airport hotel. The room was fine, check in and out was painless. Didn't get a chance to use the amenities but there are plenty of restaurants and food options on site.

"Traveling cross country...a great respite!"
We were told by friends the Drury Inns are very nice hotels. We were not disappointed! The location downtown St Louis was convenient. The accommodations were great and the breakfast and late afternoon buffet were wonderful. The experience was terrific!

"Nice historic gem, but rooms lack the luster..."
Staff=Excellent. Everyone was nice and accommodating! Room was dated. The beds were ok, but there was some wear and tear... Bathrooms looked to have some original fixtures, which were neat, but not really functional. Big thing for us, is that we had no control over temperature in the room. The radiators were on one night and it was not cold.... TV, was newer...the Sensor on the TV was disabled and the remotes did not work well. I am not sure why this was done nor the purpose behind this. But the staff did what they could to assist, and did not understand why IT had done this. We did not use the athletic facilities nor did we dine on site. I was a little self conscious about the dress code, but when we saw the family of four going to the pool with no shoes, and boys had no shirts I was less concerned.

"Nice hotel close to Clayton / Midtown / Ladue"
Staff was very nice and helpful. Facilities need a bit a small upgrade: hall paint (lighter neutral color), new carpet and curtains for guest rooms.
