"Free parking and free early check in"
We chose this hotel as it included free parking which we knew could be quite expensive in a city if we had to pay. We arrived at 11.30am and asked if it was OK to park and we would return after the 2.30pm check in time. She immediately phoned to see if our room was ready and allowed us to check in and handed us the keys so we could go straight to our room. We had a lovely view of the water front from our window and the room, although small was clean and comfortable. It was quite a long walk to the city centre but taking everything into account would use again. Staff were excellent.

"Does exactly what it says on the tin !!"
For the price, this hotel is excellent. We went to the Echo Arena to a concert, it is within easy (and safe) walking distance along a well lit roadway. We were expecting the rooms to be terribly shabby .... they're not super-modern, but they were clean. Hotel staff were amazing, bar staff very pleasant, drinks reasonably priced, safe and easy free parking. I couldn't fault the place (except that its a bit dated, but then you get what you pay for). We'll definitely be coming back.

"Clean and comfy rooms in a kinda sketchy building"
My friends and I stayed at this place 2 times within a week in December 2014. There are rooms to accommodate 1, 2, and 3 adults. The rooms were either renovated very recently (as of the time of our stay), or have always been well-maintained: they were very clean, and everything in them worked perfectly. The rooms have complimentary Wi-Fi, password-secured (not using MAC-address filtering!). This means that you can connect your streaming media-players like Chromecast to the room's big-screen TV and enjoy Netflix or other quality online content, instead of the numerous ad-overloaded satellite channels. The rooms we stayed in were facing the pub across the street, so some loud entertainment was filling the rooms until 1 AM. The rooms have traditional British two-fauceted sinks, which are ridiculously inconvenient for us Americans. The check-in took 3 minutes or less (sign the form, get your key, and you're done!). For the check-out, you simply drop off your key in the box on the wall on your way out.

"Good location to center of town"
Well situated hotel. Staff friendly and very helpful. For the amount of the room, I was very comfortable, and the facilities were good (wifi, tv, aircon). Very close to city center, and right next to Chinatown, and many other dining facilities. Would return when next in Liverpool.

"Great for a day out at the footy!"
Used this hotel for overnight stay whilst attending football match. Staff really friendly, and accommodating, and room was very spacious and clean. Fresh bedding and towels were a welcomed sight, and even offered use of a bathrobe. Shared bathroom facilities could be a little better designed, but overall very comfortable stay. Would go back in a heartbeat. Only downside was bedding had a funny aroma, not damp smelling, just variant fabric softener I guess. May put some people off, but covering pillow with towel soon sorted the issue.
