"Great location!"
We arrived very early but was still able to check in. Staff on Reception were very good. Its in a perfect spot for Albert Dock, shops and bars, no taxis required! Extremely comfy bed too. Would definitely stay here again.

"Excellent location"
Excellent location - short stroll from Lime St station platforms & no awareness of trains once in hotel. Adequate for my touristy/study purpose. Clean room. Continental breaky (English style - with cereal) great idea as full English wasted on me. Staff very obliging./friendly. Very happy with my 2 night stay. Did hear thumping bass sound from venue next door but that stopped by 11.00pm so not a problem.

"Free parking and free early check in"
We chose this hotel as it included free parking which we knew could be quite expensive in a city if we had to pay. We arrived at 11.30am and asked if it was OK to park and we would return after the 2.30pm check in time. She immediately phoned to see if our room was ready and allowed us to check in and handed us the keys so we could go straight to our room. We had a lovely view of the water front from our window and the room, although small was clean and comfortable. It was quite a long walk to the city centre but taking everything into account would use again. Staff were excellent.

"Clean and comfy rooms in a kinda sketchy building"
My friends and I stayed at this place 2 times within a week in December 2014. There are rooms to accommodate 1, 2, and 3 adults. The rooms were either renovated very recently (as of the time of our stay), or have always been well-maintained: they were very clean, and everything in them worked perfectly. The rooms have complimentary Wi-Fi, password-secured (not using MAC-address filtering!). This means that you can connect your streaming media-players like Chromecast to the room's big-screen TV and enjoy Netflix or other quality online content, instead of the numerous ad-overloaded satellite channels. The rooms we stayed in were facing the pub across the street, so some loud entertainment was filling the rooms until 1 AM. The rooms have traditional British two-fauceted sinks, which are ridiculously inconvenient for us Americans. The check-in took 3 minutes or less (sign the form, get your key, and you're done!). For the check-out, you simply drop off your key in the box on the wall on your way out.

"Nice hotel / BnB not too far from the city centre"
I absolutely loved my ensuite room - perfect for a weekend stay. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a crash landing stay at Liverpool. So close to the city centre. Coming from London, I only paid £5.30 to get from the centre to my hotel. Great.

"Liverpool Lodge Liverpool UK"
Stayed at Liverpool Lodge August 2015. After reading a few bad reviews didn't know what to expect but it was great. Near town which is a wild town, very clean, rooms fine with a free basket of snacks and juice, breakfast healthy, price very good, no faults and I would recommend.

"Rooms To rent"
This place is, at my opinion, is not an hotel but room to rent. First when you arrive you will have to walk about 3 min down the main street by a bar building to registrer. Note: you cannot do it before 14:00h. All is lock before that. They give you keys & towels, you pay and go back to the building on Volcan , with a restaurant on ground floor. After that you are on your own (no reception, no phone..). With a car you park on the street (nothing fancy, by the Port area) The room and share bathroom were clean, good outside light, with a TV (cables off half time) and a good WiFi connection. The beds were really uncomfortable, the springs hurting your body. When you check out, you just drop the keys in a mail box. The good think about the place, the city bus stop in front and with a car you are close to the city activities.

"Docklands isolation"
Probably not one for romantic getaways but this place is pretty functional, it's cheap and with the nearby (magnificent) Stanley Dock undergoing some pretty serious renovation, if you're on a budget, it's worth considering. I think it would be of especial interest to Urban explorers interested in Liverpool Maritime and Docklands history - it is palpable.

"Well located."
Just a room that I booked for a short weekend stay, to visit friends. I had a little trouble finding it at first, but this was due to my not paying attention to where I was going. While it is not a hotel for holidaying, per se, it IS extremely useful for the odd night/stag/hen do type customer. It's cheap enough, very clean, and the shared bathroom aspect isn't even a deal killer. All in all, I was very pleased. The staff were polite and prompt, and payment was simple. Ditto checking in or out. To sumamrise, the perfect hotel for the night out/weekend visit. I read some of the more negative reviews, and was apprehensive when I got there, but really. It's a nice, cheap,. functional place, with great staff. I recommend this hotel entirely.

"Ideal alternative to staying at "The Vincent""
We had a wedding to attend in Southport and it was being held at "The Vincent." We received an offer of a price reduction to stay there but it was still far too expensive for a family of four (gorgeous hotel though and if I had disposable cash I would've booked!) Looked on Expedia and this hotel came up at a third of the cost. We weren't expecting much, however, we were pleasantly surprised! A very friendly welcome, a lovely large family room with everything you could want (if I was to be picky, there were only 3 cups for a family of four) comfy bed and all within about 10 min walk of town and "The Vincent." We had breakfast which was more than adequate! Would happily stay again 😊
