When we chose the Novotel, it was because it was within walking distance of both Anfield and the City Center. Unfortunately, I broke my leg prior to the trip and could not walk. We were dismayed by the lack of restaurants and shopping in the area; therefore relying on the hotel bar and restaurant and room service. All were fine, but limited. I will state that the staff we met through those places were kind and accommodating beyond belief, as well as the front desk. We arrived on Thursday and our bag did not arrive until Sat night, and the compassion shown by all was exceptional. So,the people were wonderful, the accommodations very nice, but the location was inconvenient for someone in my condition. However, I applaud the people of Liverpool and their kindness toward handicapped people in general, and myself in particular ❤️

Hotel ok location. Room was clean/ spacious and had everything we needed for a night stay watching the football. Outside noise from traffic was pretty loud and opposite hospital so sirens woke me up on numerous occasions
