Stayed at the Radisson for 4 nights in October. The staff were very friendly, the concierge was helpful. We stayed in an inside room, didn't have any blue light at all that other reviewers have mentioned. In fact it was very quiet. The hotel is in a good location just down from Alexanderplatz and within walking distance of Brandenburg Gate. I didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that, but would definitely stay there again.
The hotel de rome is a well run nice hotel in a good position for sightseeing in Berlin. Near the museum island but also not far from Brandenburg gate reichstag etc.
Staff very efficient and helpful- breakfast waitresses, concierge and in the bar.
This was our second visit and we highly recommend the hotel. Basically a new veneer on am old building - works well
A little too far from the centre of Berlin but made up for by the hotel itself and a lovely range of eateries in the area. Would recommend it but make sure you buy a travel pass as you do need to travel a lot!

This was a wonderful hotel, comfy beds, spacious rooms, lovely staff, Susan in particular. Our room looked over the Brandenburg Gate which, with October lights festival was spectacular. The food at the Michelin restaurant was as good as it should have been ( but the experience was slightly marred by being overcharged by 560 euros- it was sorted out efficiently). I would go back again tomorrow if I could.
The hotel is extremely quiet, in the middle of a forest up a mile-long drive from the road. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, beautiful bathroom with separate WC. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We ate in the gourmet restaurant one evening: it was very expensive, but a marvellous culinary experience, three course interspersed with amuses vouches, and with their selection of wines, which was outstanding. We also had room-service one evening, also excellent food and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good, the only complaint that there was no freshly squeezed juice: surely this should be standard in high-quality hotels. I recommend this hotel unreservedly, for a relaxing long weekend in the beautiful scenery around Potsdam.

Convenient location about 10 minutes flat walk to Alexanderplatz, but also close to trams and U-Bahn when going further. Very quiet street in really nice part of town but close to city centre. Very comfortable bed and spacious living room , with quirky, interesting decor, all newly renovated. Breakfast had great selection and was fresh and excellent; dining room had an open fire which was welcome as the weather was cold. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Wi-fi was sometimes slow and dropped out a couple of times but otherwise this was the perfect hotel. Hotel provided really great pocket information cards about the sites of interest which included maps.

The Melia Berlin was an excellent choice for a long weekend. We checked in early but our room wasn't ready until 3pm, we went for a walk and returned later to be given our room card, it was room 650, we were surprised that it had a great view of the bridge and the river Spree, the room itself was of a good size for a European hotel and even though it was two single beds when we asked them it was made up as a double bed. We found that all the staff were happy to chat and gave us information on the attractions and a map with everything highlighted. Berlin is a must place to visit as there is so much to see, we will definitely go back again.
