We stayed at this hotel for three nights and, for a low cost hotel, were very impressed! Our room was spacious, clean and recently renovated. The hotel staff was helpful. I would recommend to a friend!

“Best Deal in Town”

The Auckland City Hotel Was the best deal for the money we found in New Zealand. The bed was comfortable, the room very new and clean, and it was quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

The best price I could find for the CBD, and since I had stayed before I did not hesitate to book. On arrival I found I had been upgraded, and this was a week before the rugby world cup. Staff were all very friendly and obliging. Room was most comfortable. While the hotel is close to the City Mission, it is even closer to the Central Police Station! While not on the waterfront, the City Link free bus is a 5 minute walk downhill both too and from the bus (by choosing different stops).

This hotel was completely renovated just 5 months before my stay. The decor was very modern and room very clean, with all the amenities. Heat was provided by a space heater, but worked very well. I would definately recommend this hotel.

The hotel is new and conveniently located across the street from Just mart, an Asian supermarket that opens until midnight. The kitchenett is nice. It takes a while (10 min?) to walk to the airbus bus stop on Queen Street, but it's all downhill and not too bad if your suitcase has wheels. The room is large and comfortable. The staffs are friendly. It is a good bargain.

A nice, new, clean hotel. Quiet but ideal location. Valet parking was very good. I would highly recommend and will go back!
