Overall it's a beautiful place, the ocean was expectacular. The staff very helpful,always going above and beyond to make the stay very pleasant. The bathrooms very outdated, this area needs improvement. Overall a nice vacation destination.

Friendly staff, clean and a lot to do. We received an upgrade but didn’t know about it until we came to the resort and they told us we are in a different area. Would be nice to know ahead of time

Property was very clean, friendly staff. We were able to make 3 dinner reservations. Ocean has a lot of rocks which makes a little hard to walk. Drinks are good, we had access to all 4 Barcelo resorts, everything in walkable distance.

The free hour in the spa was nice (hot and cold jacuzzi), the bedding was dirty and the restaurants always full and some of the restaurants the service was not good.

Our room was not cleaned thoroughly when we arrived. The toilet leaked resulting in a wet bathroom floor at all times. Also our shower would not drain so you are standing in dirty water while showering. There was a loud squealing sound that woke us up coming from the vent on our first night there. They did fix it but it returned periodically throughout our stay which resulted in poor quality sleep. We will not be returning and do not recommend you spend your hard earned money to stay here.

Very friendly staff! After the first night I asked for an room upgrade and the staff worked hard to make it work and found us a really nice room! Beach is beautiful, pool areas are nice, good drink selection. We travelled with family and would come back. Try to book the junior suite if you can.
