"This is a nice property that's had love and care poured into restoring it. The property is however over-marketed (and over-priced) in our opinion.
Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. The garden is communal - there is no division...
"The pool was cold and sauna wasnt working. These were two of the main reasons we booked the stay. I rang before booking to ensure a pet friendly property was available and no one mentioned this.
The accomodation was very basic with a really hard bed in the master. The kettle leaked from the base, there was broken glass underneath my son’s bed and one of the seats of the sofa was collapsed.
Having said that we had a fantastic meal at the restaurant and all the staff were really warm and...

"We really enjoyed the space, the views, the insulation but also the ability to create a cooling air flow. Everything was practical and convenient. The front conservatory was a real hit. "The house was exactly as described . It was large and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We had an issue with the boiler which was dealt with straight away. Unfortunately the weather was awful , raining most days but the children still went in the sea."

"A beautiful house in a wonderful location. A family of 12 enjoyed our week even though the weather wasn’t always too good. We walked on the nearby beaches which were minutes away from the house. The owner, Roger, was very helpful and accommodating. One of our best holidays."
