Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. Fabulous 3 bed apartment with amazing seaviews and balcony

"We have been coming to Woolacombe for 16 years and have had many fab family holidays here. Holiday Home Hunters have a great set of properties and are really helpful and friendly. Sealoft lived up to our previous experiences: spacious, comfortable, really well equipped kitchen, and the house as a whole was well set up for wetsuits, body boards etc. Was nervous about the parking before we arrived, but there was plenty of space and it was easy to get out when we needed to. And the views are stunning. Just watching the sea was so relaxing and lovely. Hope to be back!"

"I was contacted by Helen early on my arrival day to say that the property was available and not to wait for the 4pm earliest check in. The House at Pebbles was exactly as described, with stunning views, especially the sunsets over Lundy Island. Lots of interesting walks from the house and nearby National Trust properties and land.Arlington House, the National Carriage Museum were very interesting and the grounds provided good walking opportunities."

"This hotel is in a fantastic location with beautiful walks along the shore. The hotel is clean, sophisticated and comfortable. The staff were almost all very friendly, kind and helpful. The food was very nice - excellent breakfasts especially. The only downsides are that the pool is freezing. Also information on the room specification was misleading ‘shower/bathtub combination’ logically made me think we would have a bathtub with a shower over the top. As a part of an expensive seaview room, I really wanted a bath and the information given made me believe this is what we would have instead of the shower which I found in our room. Otherwise I would not have booked that room. I was told on arrival by the hotel manager that I should have made a special request for this before arriving (which made it seem like this was my fault). She told me that there was nothing she could do about it because they were fully booked and that next time, I needed to request this to avoid being disappointed. No other attempts to make up for this or to at least accept that the information given had been misleading were made. The rest of the kind and welcoming staff and our stay there made up for this rude and unkind interaction and we had a nice time but this did taint the trip for us and better customer service could have avoided us feeling disappointed and told off."

"An immaculate upside-down house giving amazing picture views from each window. A fabulous sea view from the lounges large sliding door with Juliet balcony, allowing us to listen to the waves. Also, views of the downs & valley from side and rear of the property. The Hot Tub was perfectly positioned at the rear to enjoy the scenery.We saw lots of wildlife in the large back garden area including morning visits from a woodpecker and a red deer running through.The property is situated in a peaceful location, just a short walk to the beaches and the villages of Woolacombe and Mortehoe.It was great to meet the host Johnny who was lovely and friendly, he gave us lots of advice on the area and good walking ideas of the coastal routes and across the downs. Thank you Johnny for letting us stay at your lovely property, we didn't want to leave after a fantastic week and we hope to be back in the near future."

"We have just returned from our second stay at Combesgate View and we have had another lovely holiday. The house was beautifully prepared for us and we immediately felt at home and could get on with our holiday. The house worked really well for the four of us and there was plenty of room to relax and enjoy the stunning view of Combesgate beach with its’ amazing sunsets. It’s an easy and level walk into Woolacombe itself and takes about 10 minutes and just a bit longer if you want to go to the main beach but you have Barricane and Combesgate beaches on your doorstep. It’s also a very welcome addition to have a parking space and our car remained unused for much of the holiday. We had exceptionally hot weather and we appreciated the cool temperature in the house. With the window open the main bedroom was cool at night and it was a delight to listen to the tide coming in. We used the fan in the back bedroom for our granddaughters. Holiday home hunter are a lovely company to deal with and I know that if I have a question about the house or the local area they will be able to help as they are local too. I have already booked for next year and hope we are as lucky with the weather as we have been this year."

"This is our third stay at Cliff House which speaks for itself. Wonderful position , the property is described & the parking access explained exactly as you will find it. Home from home with everything you could possibly need . We had a magnificent time with our request of a ten day stay granted , even getting an unexpected change of linen mid way into our stay , which was most welcome. Holiday Home Hunter gave a friendly, professional service , as always , I have already made enquiries about a return visit next year. Definitely Recommend this property , but not the week want it !"

"Lower Deck is in a beautiful setting, with the most amazing views from the patio doors and terrace. It’s a very special spot! Unfortunately, on this occasion, and whilst cosmetic improvements had been made since our previous visit the property was not clean - we arrived to find dirty floors (that should have been mopped), hair and waste contact lenses supplies in both bathroom bins and half eaten food in the freezer. We needed to wipe out both the cupboards and the fridge on arrival. It should be noted that we’d been made aware that the apartment had not been cleaned by the usual cleaner, disappointing as we had paid for this. The usual cleaner had made the property spotless the year before."

"We stayed at the beginning of December when Woolacoombe was very quiet. This was perfect for us but only a few shops open, a lovely coffee shop and The Jude which had amazing food. The Penthouse had a beautiful view looking out to Lundy Island. The accommodation was very comfortable, it had underfloor heating so it was very warm even when it was blowing a gale. It was very clean and had everything we needed.We enjoyed walking down to the beach and the costal walks with our dog.Highly recommended."
