"Room was very large and comfortable. Exactly as described and right downtown. Very walkable to all attractions and dining. Jo was a great host and provided excellent, large breakfast. Piano bar downstairs on Thurs - Sat nights. Would stay again. "
"Great accommodation with excellent walking paths around the area. The hosts were informative & very polite. The cooked breakfast included was amazing. Wonderful place to stay. "
"Owner is so lovely and very helpful, almost like a personal tour guide for us with plenty of suggestions for things for us to see and do. Very friendly!! Breakfast was beautiful! Room was clean, walking distance to beaches shops and restaurants. I’d stay again if visiting ilfracombe again. "
"The pool was cold and sauna wasnt working. These were two of the main reasons we booked the stay. I rang before booking to ensure a pet friendly property was available and no one mentioned this.
The accomodation was very basic with a really hard bed in the master. The kettle leaked from the base, there was broken glass underneath my son’s bed and one of the seats of the sofa was collapsed.
Having said that we had a fantastic meal at the restaurant and all the staff were really warm and...
"The booking on hotels.com stated that the property was pet friendly and dogs stay free. When the booking was confirmed, we were told that pets were £35 per pet and not as advertised. Avoid if you have pets."
"This is a nice property that's had love and care poured into restoring it. The property is however over-marketed (and over-priced) in our opinion.
Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. The garden is communal - there is no division...

"The cottage is perfectly located close to the harbour and to lots of pubs and restaurants. The cottage is cosy, but fine for a week's holiday. Accommodation is across three floors and the steep stairs may be difficult for older people or for very small children. The kitchen had all the basic requirements for catering whilst on holiday but we did tend to eat out as there were a lot of good places to go (most notably Antidote and Seventy One)Parking was ok - we never found a spot on the road outside but always managed to get a space in the car park just 2 minutes walk away (which also had 2 electric car chargers , although one was broken during our stay), though this was a pay and display car park.We were so impressed by the North Devon coastline and would thoroughly recommend a visit and a stay at Mizpah. "
"Property was clean and cosy and area around property was well kept.
Only criticism would be seeing all the graffiti in the children’s golf area which was directly outside the property window"
