The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! I went for breakfast and it was a traditional waiter service breakfast eg you are shown to a table, another waiter takes your order, you choose the items you want and its freshly cooked ( no food sitting under a heated light)"

"I found The Royal & Fortescue to be a lovely comfortable place to stay in the centre of Barnstaple very close to all amenities including the bus station which was so handy for getting to other near by attractions.
