"Excellent refurbishment, well appointed and good location with parking for one car. Great house in a quiet part of the Lakes with good access to the hills on foot so no need to drive. Two good pubs in the village and a good village shop with the bare essentials and lots of treats."

The layout is great and our toddler enjoyed playing in the large lounge and dining area where we could keep an eye on her through the glass windows in the downstairs doors. We appreciated the books for babies and young children and lake district guides for adults. The welcome goodies were a nice touch.
