"We found bugs in the ice that came from ice machine. Second, refrigerate did not work. Third, no mirror in the room. Only mirror is located in a bathroom. When several people are getting ready not everyone can fit the bathroom. At last, we paid $50 resort fee and only one pool side was open. Kids splashing water is not very relaxing for adults. Plus, Waites messed up our food order several times. "

There was a handicapped gentleman in the elevator having issues and I told security and they told me there was nothing they could do about it. I found a manager who simply listened to me and carried on what she was doing. The phone in my room did not work during my entire stay. I couldn't even use my cell phone to contact the front desk because they use AI. I had to go down to the front desk to ask a question at 3am. I bought a coffee at the shop ON THE PROPERTY and was not allowed to drink it at the pool. I was hit with a sticker fee shock when I was required to put down a $100 PER NIGHT deposit on my room. This was not on the receipt and expedia did not give any warning. I will not visit rio again nor will I use Expedia for any travel plans in the future. "
