"My husband and I arrived late and was greeted by our friendly reception. He helped us get in our room which was clean and spacious. It had the BEST bed to sleep on and this is a must specially for travelers. We love we got a discount with the bakery attached to it. The sandwiches and coffee were great. For me, I love the hot chocolate. Service is top notch! This hotel is located in a good place near shopping and different restaurants. You can take the Rialto or San Marco vaporetto stop and walk for 5-7 mins. I highly recommend this place. "

"The room what fabulous and exactly what you would expect from a hotel if this age, notoriety and calibre. We were initially directed to the wrong floor, but found our room soon enough. We had a beautiful Canal view and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery. The breakfast area sits at virtually water-level and is exceptionally stylish - the piece de resistance of our stay here for sure. The buffet itself ran from 7:30-10am. We went down around 8:45 and it was busy! Let’s just say it was a little chaotic and people were pushy. The staff seemed to be doing their best to buss tables and pick up after people, but it was a little intimidating at first. Just throw some elbows and get your food, apparently. Overall, we would stay here again. If you’re from Canada like we are, I would compare it to one of the Fairmont Hotels for its charm and character. "
