"Great view,,,,,,,,,,,but the higher your room the more flights of stairs you have to carry your baggage up and then down again, location facing the lagoon and convenient for water taxis, don't get excited about breakfast,,,,and pigeons walking around your feet while you are eating, water pressure in the shower is brilliant, there i said something good about the hotel. "We loved this place! We had a balcony room overlooking the canal with a gorgeous view of a garden. The staff was great with questions, and the breakfast was fabulous. The Colombino is very close to everything, and has a special tour of Murano, so we cancelled our planned trip and saved some money. Great hotel and highly recommend! "

"This hotel is a gem, and the staff is incredible. The location was great for us. It is close to restaurants where locals actually eat and a short walk to all the major tourist locations. We loved our room with its towering ceilings and giant chandeliers. Every morning we woke up excited to have breakfast at the hotel, which was the best breakfast we had in Italy. It was delicious. The staff made everything very easy. I booked water transfers through the hotel, and they delivered perfect service. All we had to do was enjoy our trip. We were greeted at the train station and escorted to our waiting water taxi. We attended a gala dinner for Festa Del Redentore. The water taxi to dinner was right on time. The transfer to the airport was also perfect. If you let the wonder staff handle the logistics, you will have an amazing trip. They also offer a great tour of Murano. We were shocked to learn that there is no cost for the water taxi to and from Murano when planned with the hotel. We stayed at great properties in Rome and Florence, but this hotel in Venice was the best stay of our trip. Venice is already a special place, but a great hotel like this one makes it a 10/10. "
