"Unfortunately the shower was blocked which partially flooded the bathroom. This ment you had to have a break in the middle of your shower to allow the water down the blocked drain. Apart from that I had no complaints. It's clean and the breakfast was decent. It's almost 5 euros for a coke zero so bring your own."

"Great location. Location was a plus. It was just few steps away from the boats station. Room was very neat and with great AC. Staff were great and helpful. We are very satisfied!"

"Very helpful staff and the room was clean and comfortable. Great location that was easy to get to. We loved the breakfast! Only hiccups: older hotel with no elevator so we had to carry our luggage up and down three stories. Also, there was an additional city tax which we had to pay in cash (Euros) so I had to hunt down an ATM and get cash and pay a 5% exchange fee ontop of everything."

"We loved our room #123. Fantastic room with balcony and great view. Staff was very nice and we really enjoyed our stay. It was close to everything. Our only regret was that we only stayed for one night because we were going on cruise the next day. We would have been extremely happy to stay at this hotel for the week. When we come back to Venice, this is the hotel we will try to stay at. We really appreciated the wonderful staff. Hope to see you again. Absolutely recommending this hotel. Gracia"

"We were offered a great upgrade to two rooms (one for us and one for our older kids) for a minimal price, was a fantastic option...and both had AC which was critical in the heat!"

"Great property, we didn't eat there since the whole of Venice was a short boat shuttle away. Two issues, they didn’t honor my Gold HH status and the shuttle is not included, it is only $18 PP per stay so not a big deal. It is a very nice property with a lot of amenities."
Carnival Palace Hotel

"The property is modern and clean and the staff is very good. They have a lobby bar that makes great cocktails and was a fun place to gather with our friends at the end of the day. It is not in the middle of the city, but everything was easily walkable within 20 minutes."
