"The location is mesmerizing with crashing waves and blue waters up to the hotel sea wall. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Excellent seafood. Modern rooms and facilities."
"Absolutely a superb experience! Such friendly staff, helpful at all times. Lovely to have a “private” beach and combine relaxation with experiences arranged by a knowledgeable staff. "
"The check-in for this property is very problematic. Note that their credit card reader doesn’t always work. And they are very lucky if you try to pay with cash about the condition of your bills. The slightest crease on a bill and they won’t take it. This makes paying for the property difficult and a completely unnecessary headache. "
"A good place with a good location close to the jungle beach. The hotel hasn’t been upgraded in a few years, but is still clean and the staff is really helpful."
"We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The room, staff and views were amazing. This hotel is in a quiet location and has everything you could want in a holiday stay. "
"Excellent stay at KK beach - great service and great facilities- beautiful location on beach front
Staff go out of their way to look after guests
Excellent ocean front rooms and suites "
"It is a nice hotel even though the entrance way is ugly. The staff are very pleasant, especially the gentleman who checked us in and served us breakfast. We didn't get the same warmth from the owner. The 'free toiletries' was a small bar of soap but this seems to be the case in a lot of the cheaper hotels. We stayed in the deluxe double room which while nice, wasn't deluxe. The bathroom window also backed onto to an area where bottles were discarded and it was easy for someone to see in.

"Large rooms with comfortable bed right on the beach. Easy walking to many tourist shops and many restaurants. Lots of fresh seafood available from these restaurants. Staff was very friendly and eager to help with a smile. The restaurant prepared a seafood grill each night and set tables with candies at the edge of the surf. Breakfast was very good with lots of fruit and an omelette station as well as curry. Can’t go wrong staying here. "
"Fantastic paradise right on the beach. Close enough to all the tourism and excitement, but far enough away to have true peace and tranquility. The staff was absolutely phenomenal and the reason I will absolutely come back. "
"This is a newer property in Unawatuna so I was hesitant. But this place was phenomenal. The room was so nice, very clean, and had everything we needed for our stay, including a small kitchen and even a washer. It's close enough to all the local attractions, but located just far enough away from the main road to be very quiet. Good restaurant options nearby, 24 hour pool, and 25 hour security. Wifi is fast and the AC works great. The only thing that would improve this place would be if breakfast...
"The staff was expecting us on arrival and greeted us by name, and the personal service continued until the moment we left. With only seven rooms, this is probably the most personalized service you will receive at any hotel, anywhere. The rooms are HUGE with uninterrupted views of the ocean. The common areas of the hotel also offer expansive views of the sea from every angle. The pool was heated to perfection, the food for both dinner and breakfast was excellent, and everyone was so incredibly...

"The hotel is beautiful with amazing views and excellent staff. The hotel has a free shuttle service between 8.30 and 4.00 to Jungle Beach and the temple. It’s also just ten minutes by tuktuk to Galle which cost about £1.50 - £2.00. The pool is lovely and the roof top bar sells great cocktails. We ate dinner at the hotel which was delicious and reasonably priced. They were very accommodating of our dietary requirements (vegetarian and vegan.) We had the Sri Lanka breakfast - again prepared vege/vegan. But they also offer English and continental which looked delicious too. All of the plug sockets in the room were uk sockets and so the universal charger we had been travelling with wasn’t compatible. However the manager leant us his travel plug which was very helpful. This was my favourite hotel in Sri Lanka and I wish we’d stayed longer. "
"Stayed here many time. Staff amazing and place really beautiful. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Unawatuna. Good Wi-Fi in communal areas (doesn’t quite reach all rooms). The eco friendly question hotels.com asks is difficult to answer. They give lots of bottled water, which I guess isn’t very eco-friendly - but that is what tourists want. I guess maybe if they had a large central water dispenser people could refill bottles for that would reduce plastic use. I think some tourists might complain though. It is a difficult issue for a Sri Lankan hotel "
"Had a really relaxing stay. The property is gorgeous and I highly recommend the ocean view room. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and looked after. Will definitely be back "
