"Property is a nice place. The service was very slow and bad. Checked in and was told there is a power failure, power will be up in 20mins and after an hour, power is not up yet. "Let's just say, I will definitely return. Clean, design like, minimal hotel. Private access to one of the best beaches in the South. Staff are friendly and the place feels homely. "We enjoyed staying two nights at Sun N Sea in early April. We enjoyed both the view of the beach/ ocean as well as the food. We were able to walk along the beach and into town easily. The manger helped us find a store which sells a computer charger. We had accidentally left ours at home. The beds were very comfortable and we all enjoyed surfing lessons."

"A hotel with a nice view. Run a little like a homestay with a friendly host with 3 dogs. Main issue, and I'm surprised no one has mentioned it, is that there is a steep climb up the driveway. Taxis will not get up it ! The hotel provides a tuk-tuk shuttle to get bags etc as well as a courtesy lift whenever you press the bell (up to 9pm). Not a place to stay if you have bad knees. I did think the hotel was pricey for what we got. Pool is simple but we loved it . Food was lovely too. However....

"Location and overall appeal of the hotel is great. Some staff are really good and helpful. Most are courteous but the language barrier makes it super hard at times. Front desk was the worst and there was a huge gap in requests made to them and getting those executed by the staff. Cleanliness needs a WHOLE LOT to be improved on. "Hotel J has the potential to be a great hotel however the cleanliness and lack of attentiveness from staff lets it down. We arrived with dirty sheets and towels and had to ask several times for this to be changed. Despite this the food at the hotel is very nice and the pool is great at the end of a hot day. Another minor problem is the lack of sun loungers at the pool, there is nowhere to sit! "
