"Owner is very attentive. I arrived early and was welcome and showed to my room. It is very conveniently located to Stirling castle,downtown, shopping and dining. They have an excellent restaurant, unfortunately was closed during my stay. I was traveling by myself and I feel very safe during my stay. Breakfast had an excellent variety. I ordered the Scottish breakfast,was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this cute B&B. "

"Very old building so lots of quirky features like different shaped wooden skirting boards, the bath in our room in need of refurbishment but clean & both sink & toilet looked new, our room was lovely & cosy (a bit too hot at times but preferable to it being cold) Paul the chef & manager friendly & welcoming. "The property is a bit old but clean and economical. Free breakfast is a plus. The things I did not like were: the shared toilet located across the room even though I booked an ensuite one - called and messaged the owner but no response; only 1 hanger available for our jackets, and the motion-activated light in the toilet automatically shuts off so I was having a shower in the dark lol"

"We loved Highland Guest House. It's in a perfect location in a great little tow. Our hosts were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic, and another guest lounge had supplies of tea, coffee and fruit available during the day. We found many wonderful walks in the area, great meals in the nearby pub and lots of interesting shops in town. This guest house was also the best value accommodation we found on our holiday in the UK."

"A lovely property which is well situated. It had everything we needed. Unfortunately there is a lot of noise transfer from the apartment above. When I tried to contact the owner it took 4 days to get an answer, despite me using the numbers provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would definitely stay in the top apartment next time."
