"Place was under construction. Its going to be really beautiful when done. The pool area was being retiled and torn up. The rooms were new and modern. But the attention to finishing details was questionable. For instance the toilet seat was not screwed down. There was no microwave, phone, iron, or sitting chair in the room. The TV did not work. We could not check any of the cables cause it was built into a wall. We did get the front desk person to fix it. Was super quiet and very clean. Id stay there again in about 8 months when its completed."

"We used to come here all the time, but hadn’t been here for about 10 years. The check-in was great. Our flight was early so she got us checked in by 1 o’clock. It was sad that the place has not updated anything as far as their rooms. Pull out couch in living room has many stains and kind of gross looking. We put a sheet on it before we sat down. Balcony has a nice view, but we couldn’t go on it with bare feet because it was so filthy and sticky. The maintenance of this property used to be very clean, but it’s broken down. Besides the check-in woman, I found that the staff wasn’t that friendly, for instance, I was leaving on May 6 at 4 PM, so is typically might be the case. I went to the front desk on the afternoon of the fifth to ask for a late checkout of an hour. The Man at the desk started to look at the computer to see if it was possible, just done a younger girl who was standing behind the dust as well. Said the ownership does not allow late checkouts. I had never heard of such a thing especially on a Wednesday. I called in the morning and talked to a different person at the front desk and they gave me a late checkout. That told me employees sort of make their own rules when convenient for them. There’s plenty of places to go on Golf Drive. I’ll pick somewhere else next time."

"It was okay. Resort fees provided nothing we would use. On top of resort fees, you must pay for parking, and pay to reserve/use the cabanas. Our last day, the maids didn't even service our room. And the one night we ordered room service, it was kind of a nightmare...once we got the food, it was not good. All that aside, it is an older resort, that is maintained in pretty good shape. Great launching pad to explore Tampa and surrounding beaches."
