The room was lovely with a nice outlook of the creek behind the hotel. The king size bed was very comfortable and the staff friendly and helful. The restaurant was also very good.

First room we were offered stink of smoke. 2nd room wasn’t much better bad had the previous guests medication left on the bed head. The air conditioning didn’t cool the room at all, the fridge didn’t work and I’ve never had a colder or more stale breakfast! Would not recommend ever!

The room smelt badly of mould. We couldn't find the source until we looked out the window and the air conditioner was absolutely caked in mould. I won't be staying there again.

Thank you Ibis Styles you saved me from sleeping in the car!! I booked with Expedia got my confirmation email and all was set for my stay at Ibis Styles. BUT when i arrived and tried to check in, my EXPEDIA booking couldn't be found. Ibis staff member Kim went over and above, by shuffling things around and finally found me a room with them...I got very lucky as a couple decided to leave sooner than ezpected and Kim was on to it. Staff explained that they had been booked out for months and they didn't know why I was able to book through Expedia. Will never use Expedia ever adain!!! Great place, lovely staff, good food, close to town centre - PERFECT!!!

We had two rooms, first room was 2 queen beds. This room wasn’t clean The window had ( Snot on the glass) it was blood) My granddaughter cleaned it off, the curtains very dirty, one of the bedcovers was dirty . Not good The other room was a king bed it wasn’t up to standard for a motel room, especially when you pay $ 362 for one night Location was what we wanted But rooms were not

Hospitality lacking
Our first stay on 21st November was comfortable but not the second stay on 6th December when we were given a room in an older/unrenovated block of rooms. The bathroom had a brick wall about a foot high so you'd have to step over this wall to get into the small shower cubicle. The plastic toilet seat has marks (like cigarette burn marks), most unhygienic. Our two visits were booked in July and we were disappointed that the room was not blocked for our return visit as we did inform Reception staff of our return visit in December when we checked out in November.

The place was clean and tidy so no issue there, the staff were amazing, the restaurant was awesome but please put up a shade option for the doors so they don't overheat with the direct sun and the poor staff have to come and ice the door so it cools down and opens.

Maybe I was expecting too much, but cheaper hotels in the area provide better service and have better facilities. Clothes Dryer failed and charged for a cycle but did not compllete one. A toilet brush wouldn't go astray either. Prefer to stay elsewhere next time.

Rooms are really dark with good blocking curtains. The windows face a darker area along the river which is good design. Shower water pressure not great. Air conditioner didn't work properly. The screen on the remote was blank, so couldn't change temperature or mode on this. The location is right on a major intersection - on the plus side it's only a short walk into town - but there is a lot of traffic noise - Particularly late at night when there seem to be many cars doing drag races and burnouts as loud as possible.

Hi, didn’t check in and was at the hospital shortly after the booking Tried calling to no avail so can’t understand how I can rate this place except for not caring for their customer There was no phone calls from the ibis Tamworth to see if I’m running late and offer late pick up for keys or my well being To me they were happy to take my money and didn’t have the professional approach at their end and their care to their customer That’s my experience and poorer for the experience so Wotif please look into this or I will use another site

Room and beds were great/comfy, but the bathroom was not fantastic - old, with some cracked/missing tiles and quite a bit of mould in the shower area. A bathroom freshen-up/reno would make it live up to its Ibis 'Style' advertised criteria. Room was booked for 4ppl, but were only given 2 mugs, 2 glasses, a tiny kettle. Expected a bit more from this higher level of accommodation.
