This was one of the prettiest places we've ever stayed in. Breakfast was delicious and personalised, wonderfully renovated pub and hotel rooms. Staff were really friendly and great pub to enjoy a drink or eat in. Comfortable, quiet and extremely relaxing with added bonus of bath and sash windows which opened to look out at the front of the property. PERFECT!!

We loved the old country pub and hospitality. After a quick walk around the village we settled in for a few ales a fantastic dinner ad a good night sleep. Our breakfast was included which was fantastic as it was a full English breakfast cooked to perfection. Loved our time there and would highly recommend for anyone

A lovely 3 days spent visiting family and friends in the area. A cozy but large bedroom, warm and clean. Staff were amazing, from the bar , the kitchen and dining room, excellent hard working friendly staff. There was a major kitchen drama on the last morning and the staff came to the rescue with an amazing breakfast (no kitchen) 2 amazing eggs cooked in the drawing room on a temporary kitchen set up. A must stay of you are going to the area but stay for more than1 night. :) Ian

A lovely place to stay . Unfortunately no air conditioning in this heat . Had a fan in the room which helped a bit staff were helpful and we had a lovely meal at the Boat House . Great location.

We only stayed here for one night but loved it! Timely communication, good directions and the welcome was very friendly. The kids (and adults) loved all the animals and being able to visit them when they liked. The welcome box of groceries was awesome and very well used. The cabin is quite new so the fit-out is fresh (the bathroom could use a mirror beside the basin). Top marks for providing the kids bunk, which they loved, but must be a nightmare to make up! One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. They made a great dinner at the restaurant. They had a fantastic gym, the room was incredible and modern. There was absolutely nothing to complain about or want more from.

Ideal stay if you want to explore the England’s west.

A lovely old style English pub. On the day it was difficult to drive to because the motorway exit nearby was unexpectedly closed, but that was not the fault of the pub! A showe curtain around the shower would be an improvement.
