Sheraton Heathrow Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I was checked in by a very nice girl who was professional and friendly. The room was very clean and the bathroom had amazing lighting. Room had a fridge which was nice to have. WiFi was excellent and I had a USB port next to the bed to charge my iPhone. TV was LG brand and offered the option of apps for YouTube and Netflix and you can also Chromecast from your smartphone. The only issue with the TV was the picture kept freezing. Air conditioning was excellent and cooled the room to a low temperature even when it was very hot outside. The Club Lounge has the best food I have experienced in a long time at any hotel executive lounge. The staff in the lounge were also helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent with lots of food choices. This is an excellent hotel and well managed the only negative for me was it’s not so easy to get too without a car."

Warbrook House Heritage Hotel

"I really enjoyed our one night stay at the Warbrook. We were travelling as a family of 5 plus a small dog - we therefore had a total of three rooms, 2 in the old house and one in the Grange which is about 200m away from the old house. All rooms were clean and appeared recently decorated / renovated. I was really impressed with the rooms. The bed was comfortable (a little soft to my personal taste) and the bathrooms were great with rain showers. Rooms had all the facilities one would expect - tea/coffee facilities, iron & board, hair dryer etc... The only negative I would say and this was only evident during a heatwave, was there were no airconditioning in the rooms. There were however, very capable tower fans which aided a good nights sleep - even though they were a little noisy. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful (Sonya) and the staff at breakfast were also efficient and friendly. Breakfast was really good - the sausages and the scrambled eggs are worthy of special mention. The grounds and setting are really worth half an hour to explore. I recommend walking around the lake in the early morning - I saw plenty of dear and birdlife and it opens up a spectacular vista of the old house. when we arrived, there was a wedding taking place in a part of the grounds - that said, it didn't interfere with our stay at all and no noise could be heard from our rooms. I feel that a real effort is being made by this hotel and I applaud their efforts. I would stay again."
