Cottage in Croesor. Snowdonian mountain retreat. Fast internet with vista views!

"The cottage is beautifully located in a rural secluded village with amazing views. Is easy to find (as long as you watch for the crossroads). The accommodation is as described with comfy beds and sofa. Kitchen is very well equipped (dishwasher instructions would have helped) and appreciated the range of pots, pans and utensils. The front garden is delightful and the pup enjoyed laying in the sun or standing at the gate bemused by the sheep in the field opposite. The open fire was a real pleasure and such a treat after a day on the footpaths. But heating and hot water facilities were up to date and functional.For such a rural location it is well placed for trips out to the beach (both Harlech and Black Rock Sands), Beddgelert and Porthmadog (has the local Tesco superstore - be warned do not do click and collect) only 20 minutes away. Even places further afield were easy to get to, Caernarvon castle and boat trips, and the myriad of steam railways, plus access to most of the Snowdon paths.The walking from the village is rewarding and spectacular - only sorry that we missed the local café.Only criticism is that we never found a way to the village pool! As it appears on the place description it would have been nice if we could have.Host Richard easily contactable and responded in no time at all."

"A delightful light, modern, spacious, quirky cottage, set in beautiful North Wales countryside. A tranquil setting, with views over Welsh mountains, only occasionally interrupted by a steam train chuffing its way through the garden. I've now stayed in both cottages and would thoroughly recommend both the cottages, and the local area."

"We had a great stay in this lovely characterful cottage, immaculately clean and equipped with everything you could need. Sally’s communication was excellent and detailed. The only comment we would have was that the double bed was rather too firm. The location was perfect for our purpose, which was to join a charity walk up Snowdon via the Rhydd Ddu path, only a couple of minutes walk away. We were only a short drive from so many other lovely popular Welsh towns and The Cwellyn Arms, just across the road, serves great food if you don’t feel like cooking after a full day. Be prepared to bring basic provisions, as the nearest shop is a short drive away. We would definitely return to this cottage."
